I have never experienced such incompetence and dishonesty from a so-called “luxury” dealership in my life. When I purchased my car from this Acura dealership, there were visible stains on the seats. I was PROMISED they would be professionally removed if I paid full price instead of negotiating the cost down. I upheld my end of the deal. They absolutely did not. Fast forward two months. I take time off during a weekday — because apparently customer convenience doesn’t matter — and leave my car with them for THREE DAYS. After keeping my car for nearly half a week, they tell me their technician “wasn’t there” to work on suede and that they didn’t touch the seats at all. So what exactly was my car doing there for three days? After arguing with the sales manager and the original salesman who conveniently forgot what was promised, they offered to “dye” the seats back to the original color. Another three days without my car. When I picked it up, the seats looked WORSE than before — yellow, dark brown blotches, the suede completely ruined, and the entire interior reeking of harsh chemicals. They didn’t fix the problem. They destroyed the material. When I escalated the issue to the sales manager and finance manager, their response was essentially: “There’s nothing we can do.” Imagine hearing that from a dealership that prides itself on luxury and customer service. After being passed around to THREE different people on THREE separate occasions, they finally offered compensation in parts. The parts I selected totaled $600. Replacement seats would have been around $800. I thought that was more than fair considering the damage they caused. After I submitted everything, they suddenly backtracked and said they could “only pay $250.” $250 doesn’t even begin to cover the damage they created. From there, it turned into them haggling with me like we were at a flea market, not a professional dealership — all while continuing to pass me around to different employees so no one had to take responsibility. This dealership does not honor its word. They wasted my time, damaged my vehicle further, refused accountability, and tried to lowball me instead of fixing their mistake properly. If this is how they treat paying customers who bought at full price, I can only imagine how they treat everyone else. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

This is definitely a place I wish I did not do business with. I visited this establishment last month to purchase a vehicle. The salesman (Golan) was not pleasant and made it clear I was just another sale he needed to make. I went alone to shop but would call my boyfriend to advise on the specs and price . He would get so irritated and say “ why do you keep calling your husband?” . At that point I became irritated and just continued shopping. He did not want to “ go to his manager” to ask about my concerns with the price until I got up and started walking away. I was then handed off to someone else . After the sales experience, I then continued to get the most untrustworthy finance experience. Alan assisted me and took over 2 hours to get my agreement drawn up. I have very good credit 800+ so it is not an issue with finding a lender. I signed the agreements and drove off. A week later I get a call and Alan states “ there was a problem with all the e - forms and WF never received them , you need to come back and sign” I drive back and sign all the forms again but now he’s telling me that they are changing the lender and I asked why? When I did this he asked if I already notified my insurance and I responded yes. So he huffed heavily and said “ fine we will just pay the extra fee” I left, a week later they call me to say I needed to come back and sign another missing document. I was going out of town and said you could mail it to me and i will sign it and return it but i am not taking another trip. I received the document and it was for the paint protection. Two days ago I received notifications that my credit was run (without my consent) by the dealership. I called and left a message and a very nice gentleman called me and ensured he would look into it and call me back. I tried calling again this morning but got transferred to another finance manager. At this point I’ve lost all trust in this establishment.

I was passed off to a different sales rep who confirmed I was interested in the AWD RDX with A-spec package then went to get the cars for me to drive. The rep came back and informed me the cars haven't passed their safety inspection yet so they can't be driven. So now all 3 of the vehicles I asked to drive are not available, I'm spending money driving miles I didn't need to, and John who I was in contact with all morning never even bothered to check on the vehicles I asked about. Garbage customer service. Waste of time and money. Shop somewhere else.

Very UNSATISFIED customers! We purchased a 2020 Acura MDX A-SPEC from Cerritos Acura dealership. We had test driven the car before and decided to purchase one. Before doing this, I got a quote via email from Weir Canyon Acura, but they did not have a WHITE one, but they said they can get it in 2 or 3 days. Called Cerritos Acura and they told me they had only one in stock. We went to check it out and sales consultant Nathan Walker helped us. We went inside to negotiate price and Nathan told us you are going to like my price that I am going to offer you and we did like it because it was almost the same as the quote we got from other dealer, any higher and we would have walked out. We even gave Nathan our quote that we got from the other dealership. Next he brought another worksheet with payment plans at 4.75% and 4.96% for terms of 60 & 72 months. We picked 72 month payments, thinking of course the payments were based on the AGREED NEGOTIATED PRICE. We painfully waited for about 1-1/2 hour to see the finance person AK (fast talker and hard to understand). He brought out the big long contract and I saw the base price that did not match what we agreed on, he quickly said all the discounts were already taken into account. We looked at each other and said well they are the experts they know what they are doing, we signed and left. We were already sick and tired after spending about 4-1/2 hours at the dealership. Next day I reviewed the contract and told me wife ‘I think we were ripped off!!!’. More than $3000.00. Apparently, we did NOT get the price we agreed on instead, it looks like Acura Cerritos backed the monthly payment they showed us into the Cash price for the vehicle. They use shady tactics to lure you in and then change price after. I called Nathan the sales consultant and asked him about the price and he pretty much acted stupid, I found out who he was working with back and forth and I called him too, his name is MIKE OSBORN Sales Manager, he pretty much told me to go pound sand TOO BAD!! You signed the contract and there’s nothing I can do for you. We spoke with other general managers for help and basically they could not help us. I guess they can’t go against their team. How dishonest, deceitful and shady of these people, they pulled a fast one on us! We trusted them with all our heart. Do all Acura Dealerships knowingly cheat their customers???? We can not believe such a large Corporation can operate this way with a clear conscience. Shame on Cerritos Acura they cheated us! Having these cheaters working for a well known Dealership like Acura, ruin it for the rest of their coworkers because we are not coming back to Cerritos Acura Dealership ever! We are not going to give them our business for car services, accessories, etc. I do not like wasting my time writing these types of reviews but sometimes it’s necessary to do them so people know they shouldn’t do business with ACURA Cerritos. I strongly would NOT recommend this Dealership. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau even though I do not expect Cerritos Acura do anything to resolve the issue or keep their customers happy. Very UNSATISFIED customers!!!

He explained in full detail what he liked about certain cars and what he honestly did not like and that made us more comfortable to stay and discuss options. Finally, when the right papers were signed, the sun had gone down so we were worried about any scratches we couldn’t see. Gary assured us that we may call him if we see any the following morning. The next morning, we saw scratches on the passenger front, front hood, and the gas lid was not flush. By that following Saturday, Gary was there to introduce us to Gerry the service advisor and explained the situation. Gerry was able to provide a courtesy car and on Monday afternoon, he called with an update of when the car will be finished. Communication within this dealership seems to be a priority and is refreshing to be a part of. If anyone is thinking of purchasing a car, Gary would be the man to reach.

I came here with my boyfriend around 7pm to negotiate on an Acura TLX 2018. Gary was our salesman and we were so fortunate to come across him! From the start, he did an extremely thorough job explaining all the specs and answering all our questions during the test drive. The Technology package has so many unique features. Gary even explained to us the differences between 2017 and 2018. During the test drive, he let my boyfriend try out the sports modes and had him make U turns to test out the feel of the car. We've test driven the Acura TLX before, but Gary showed us features that we never learned from any other salesman. If it weren't for Gary, we'd probably never know certain features came with the car to begin with. We started the negotiation process around 8pm. We closed the deal about 20 minutes later. Bud was the one who did the negotiation portion of this transaction and he is definitely our kind of guy! He was not messing around and very straight forward. There was no push and pull on a few hundred bucks. We found the best way to meet in the middle and get the car at an amazing price. Bud made the negotiation process so much easier and simpler on us. We definitely did not waste any time and we really appreciated it. After closing the deal, we completed the financial portion of the paperwork with Jaime. He was very pleasant and not pushy. He showed us all our options for additional add-ons for the car. He was very knowledgable and concise. He even stayed after closing hours to help us out. The entire process was very simple. After the paper work was done, Gary walked us through all the features of the car and even helped us set up the radio stations, bluetooth, etc. even though it was getting very late. These people really go above and beyond their job because they genuinely want you to have a car and enjoy all that the car comes with. Gary is by far one of the most knowledgable car guy we've ever met and has answered every question we've asked. We are really appreciative of all the help and hopefully others will come here as well to see how easy buying a car should be.

Prior to visiting Acura, we visited GMC and Range Rover. The service at GMC was very average, Range Rover was average, and Acura was excellent and really could not have been better. Gary first welcomed us into the dealership and wanted to make sure we were handled by the online sales. However after being greeted by Gary, we knew we didn't want another sales member. So Gary helped us out and was super informative. Didn't seem like a job for him but definitely a passion we really appreciated! He was kind and patient throughout the whole process! And not to forget Bud who was also so wonderful! I asked for a vending machine and he actually delivered the candy. Amazing service! Just to add -- I came to the Cerritos Acura dealership last year for my TLX then was here again for the MDX for my fiancé and the staff here is so great~ While purchasing the car, I also got my car serviced and the servicing team is just as amazing! Each visit for mechanical service and repairs has required a second visit to either make the proper repair and fix the issue or to fix a second issue caused by the technician. After replacement of my bluetooth unit and battery I discovered that the voice navigation was now only static noise. Returning to this dealer a week later to have them fix the voice navigation issue I receive a phone call 6 hours later telling me there is no issue. When I arrived to pick up my car I learn that instead of reading that the voice navigation was not working properly the tech instead checked the recently replaced Bluetooth. The customer rep, who didn't bother to read the service request, then states I said the Bluetooth was malfunctioning. When I read the repair order to the rep she then says she read it. Clearly, this was not the case. Rather than looking at the repair history of my vehicle over the past few weeks and making sure all the electrical work was completed properly they recommend removing the navigation unit and sending it out for repair which alone would cost $630 whether or not any issue were found. Ultimately, I felt this was the wrong course of action when they were not willing to perform even the most basic analysis or diagnostics or even consider checking the electrical work performed over several visits to fix necessary issues and issues of their own making through poor workmanship or poor training. Rather than allow them to make any further improper repairs or cause any further harm to my vehicle I chose to remove my car from the dealership and find a qualified mechanic,rather than an inexperienced technician, to correct their mistakes.

To start off I would like to say that if I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Two and a half weeks ago I purchased a used 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback from this dealer. Just last week I took the car in because I noticed that the car was not performing well. The car would stay stuck in first gear any time you gave the car gas. After the dealer held the car over a day and a half making me lose a day and a half from work they deemed that the car did in fact need a new transmission as per the Mazda technicians that they sent the car to (Mazda dealer is right next door on lot). This dealer is not taking responsibility for the poorly inspected car that they sold me and expect me to pay $1800 for the repair after only having the car for 2 weeks! On multiple occasions they pointed the fingers at the Mazda dealer because according to them the Mazda dealer did the pre-sale inspection for them. I personally don't care who inspected the car. The point is that the car is failing me and Acura of Cerritos is failing to take responsibility of their products. Looks like a bunch of failing going on at this car dealership. Now I would like to talk about the quality customer service Acura of Cerritos provides. NOT!!!!! Of course the sales staff was great when purchasing the car however, once they found out the car had a defect they sent me through the common runaround. First I dealt with the Service Department Manager (Mark). He actually wasn't bad. All he did was inform me that charging me $1800 is the absolute best they could do for me even though I had just bought the car and it was already defective. Next up was the Used Car Sales Manager(Mr. Silverlake or Silverback...something like that) Now this guy was a class act if I've ever dealt with one. While explaining to him how it was that I found the problem he insisted in mentioning the fact that maybe I should have bought a Ferrari or Lamborghini. To start off I would like to say that in reality the car was actually a safety concern at the moment when I first realized that there was something wrong. While merging onto a freeway the individual in the lane next to me failed to yield therefore since I was slightly ahead of him I pressed the gas and to my surprise the car went nowhere. Luckily I got ahead of him just enough for him to realize that I was there and he stopped. This manager Mr. Silverback was by far the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He has complete disregard for his customers concerns, their feelings and their safety. Lastly, I stepped into the big guys office. The General Manager Mr. Rick Walker. It is clear to me why his staff has a lack of professionalism, why they have no manners when talking to customers and lastly why his staff insists in nothing but sarcasm. As I went on to explain to him the concern with the car he also various times insisted that "if I drove my car like a maniac, my transmission would probably also make funny noises." Number One: not once did I drive that car out of the normal. The incident that happened that day could have been catastrophic if that man would have hit me considering the only thing on my other side of the car is a 30 foot drop onto the freeway. Number Two: it doesn't matter what kind of car you drive whether its a old beat up clunker or a Ferrari or Lamborghini, if you step on that gas pedal you should be expecting for the car to perform to its full capacity and be capable of shifting thru its gears with no restraint, SPECIALLY if it concerns your health and safety. I would also like to mention that when dealing with this man he kept mentioning how "they were doing the absolute best that they could to address the problem." Well sir if you were really doing your best you wouldn't be receiving this very negative review/complaint. If you were truly doing your best you would take responsibility of the poorly inspected products you sell and you would fix my car! For anyone considering buying a used car from this dealer I would be extremely cautious. I personally would not refer even my worst enemy to Acura of Cerritos. I hope this helps with anyone thinking of buying from this place and turns away from here. As for me I am currently driving the car as is and looking for a service center that will fix my car for a decent price. Even if the cost came out to more than the $1800 Acura was charging me I would rather take my business elsewhere.

He handed it back to me. I asked him about the legal settlement on prior model cars and he said he has been there for 22 years and there is no such settlement. He said this is private property please leave. I drove there thinking he was going to test the car with me in the car and do a diagnosis as I wait. He wouldn't. He did mention a campaign printed, but did not tell me anything about it. Seems the more intelligient I became about the acura he became angry.

My wife decided on buying a RDX 2013. She hates shopping for cars so I took a day off and visited three dealers. Tustin, Costa Mesa and Cerritos. I first went to Tustin and felt the attention was dry. Here is the information and what we can do. Not impressed. Second I went to Cerritos and was very pleased. Arthur was pleasant, courteous and human. I hope you understand what I mean by human, I felt like I was talking with my best friend. He was honest and funny. I explained that I was shopping three dealers and will let him know. He did not try to strong arm me into making a decision. I next went to Costa Mesa and was tossed around between multiple guys which I hate. All three dealers were within a few dollars on the lease but the way I was treated at Cerritos got me coming back. On Sunday my wife and I visited and sealed the deal. I have spent the good part of 4-5 hours doing the paperwork but was out in under 2 hours. They also are delaying the delivery of the car since we will not need it till next month. The finance guy also said if any deals come down between now and when we take delivery we could take advantage of them

I liked Marcus Van Doren's follow up and his personality shines right through to make one feel very comfortable. His expertise is second to none. He was very helpful in making our final decision to purchase the Acura MDX. I went over to Tustin Acura and was not impressed with their low brow attitude. I had owned an Acura Legend Coupe and I had a good experience with the Cerritos Acura repair department. That is why we wanted to purchase our new car at Cerritos Acura.
